The Ghana Secretariat will assist the JPC and is responsible for preparing and implementing the policy and the decisions of the JPC and for organising and administering the programme.
The National Health Research Unit of the Ministry of Health will serve as the Secretariat. There are three sub units: Administration, Financial Control and Research Coordination.
